Northrop Grumman
James Webb Space Telescope

To build excitement for the James Webb Space Telescope launch and highlight Northrop Grumman as its chief builder, we developed a series of unexpected placements and experiences for the brand.

We teamed up with Trailer Park Group to produce a movie trailer, created an AR experience that let people hold the telescope in the palm of their hand, and took SXSW attendees on a journey to the edge of the universe .

Concepted the idea, wrote the script, and helped visual direct this sci-fi inspired trailer that played at actual movie theaters the opening weekend of the Hollywood blockbuster NOPE by Jordan Peele.

PORTALS TO SPACE-WEBB AR

Worked alongside Niantic/8th wall to build an impressive and immersive model that helped teach the public about the James Webb Space Telescope using QR codes across banners and OOH.

I developed the copy on all the trigger points to tell the complete story of the intricate launch in a tight and concise manner.

PORTALS TO SPACE : MEV-MRV

Alongside our work with the Webb Telescope, I helped develop and wrote the copy for this interactive look into Northrop Grumman’s Mission Extension and Mission Recovery Vehicles.

SXSW CARVERTISE

Webb, being one of our generation's most advanced pieces of technology, obviously had to make an appearance during the 2023 SXSW festival.

Along with other traditional activations, we developed Webb themed ads that would be wrapped onto local Ubers and Lyfts. Two designs were eventually produced, both included a QR code, which lead riders to an AR experience, where they can see the telescope up close.

We also curated a space themed Spotify playlist, to further immerse the riders into the world of Webb.
